Norrøna takes things up a gear with new Porsche collaboration

Intriguingly described as ‘loaded minimalism’ Norwegian mountain gods Norrona have gotten together with the legendary brand Porsche for a clothing collaboration that Norrona have described as their version of the 911. Centred around the brands iconic Lofoten freeriding range the co-branded collection is comprised of insulated GTX shell jacket and pants that are equipped with snow sports friendly features such as a helmet-compatible storm hood and hand-warming pockets. Apparently this dream pairing between these two premium heritage brands came about after Style Porsche VP Michael Mauer discovered Norrona’s super functional Lofoten gear whilst out big mountain freeriding in St. Moritz. Which in turn sparked a creative dialogue between him and Norrøna CEO Jørgen Jørgensen where the two decided to create something special based on their shared appreciation of clean, functional designs driven by the relentless pursuit of performance. As a long time fan of Norrona (especially the Recon) who is yet to afford a Porsche (ideally a vintage 911) this is one dreamy, aspirational collab that whilst not appearing totally logical at first makes total sense when you compare the immense amount of quality and passion behind both these brilliant brands.

The Norrona x Porsche Lofoten collection will be available in November 2025 HERE.
