Introducing the Nike ACG Lava Loft Down Jacket

Dropping on the first of January, just in time for all those trail running resolutions, the 10-ounce, 700-fill Nike ACG Lava Loft Down jacket is an innovative layer that’s purpose built for outdoor athletes. Designed to deal with extreme temperature shifts the Lava Loft is adaptable to the various different conditions and climates encountered whilst navigating technical terrain without compromising on comfort. All of which is made possible by a winning combination of ExpeDRY Gold sustainably sourced, ultralight down insulation and Nike AeroLoft venting. In terms of development the Nike ACG designers used the detailed, cellular-level Atlas body mapping system in the Nike Sport Research Lab to identify exactly where trail runners need cold protection and moisture venting, informing where and how each material was built into the jacket. Tried and tested by Nike’s world class athletes the jacket is also built to take on the elements, with an outer layer built from a combination of Nike Dri-FIT, Repel four-way stretch, Ultra UV, and DWR hydrophobic recycled baffle materials.
