Haglöfs Solis pants are a total Zip Off

Never ones to rest on their impressive Swedish laurels, outdoor innovators Haglofs have knocked the ball out of the park this season with their modular Solis products. Available in both male and female versions these inspired pieces comprise of a bucket hat, jacket and these superb zip off pants. Designed specifically for hiking in hot temperatures, they’re constructed from lightweight but super tough, DWR treated, UPF 50+ recycled polyamide and as the name might suggest can be zipped off into a pair of three quarter legs pants or a pair of shorts depending on how hot things get. As if that three-pairs-in-one level of versatility wasn’t enough of a gift from the Swedish outdoor Gods they also feature loads of lovely details to make life even more comfortable on the trail too. So we’re talking an adjustable waist with a webbing belt, breezy mesh zippered hand pockets, a handy stowaway pocket for zip-off legs when not in use (with colour co-ordinated zips to avoid confusion), adjustable leg ends, side ventilation and press-buttons on the lower legs for easy on or off access when wearing hiking boots.
