Without a doubt one of our favourite new brands, Inselberg started life in a converted milking shed nestled in the rugged landscapes of New Zealand. A humble beginning that has gone on to reflect both the brand’s resourcefulness as well as its direct connection to extreme outdoor environments. New Zealand’s dramatic alpine terrain, with its unpredictable weather, steep ridges, and jagged peaks, has shaped their approach design. Their local landscape demanding accuracy, durability, and simplicity—qualities that define every piece of gear that Inselberg create. Whilst in terms of pushing their mountaineering gear to the limit, they went straight to the apex and enlisted the AMCART (Aoraki Mt Cook Alpine Rescue Team) and a number professional guides to refine their products out in the field.
