Hiking Patrol brings a ‘Sense of Ease’ to the new season
With another aura-filled campaign shot by our good mates at Orienteer, Norwegian based brand Hiking Patrol reappears this season with a sensual selection of seasonal goods. This time around Wai and the team have taken their inspiration from the raw beauty of nature, drawing directly from the colours and textures to be found amidst the Scandinavian rocks and mountain landscapes. Whilst the overall vibe continues to emphasise the importance of ‘quiet exploration’ and enjoying the moments of unique stillness that the outdoors can provide, whether that be the gentle transitions of weather and terrain or the calming permanence of an immoveable boulder. Mirroring this mountain-based mindfulness the gear itself is both quietly understated and functional without getting all showy offy about it. New moves for SS26 include the introduction of Arc and Waypoint linen-cotton mixed waterproof outerwear that’s been developed using a three-layer linen-cotton fabric. Which delivers a tastefully textured and natural hand feel with a light yet protective structure that perfectly balances performance with relaxed aesthetics. Hiking Patrol being one of those brands that really sets the standard when it comes to making a harmonious relationship between natural and technical through it’s inspired use of functional forms. Now is the time to slow down and layer up.
