The result of over 12,000 miles of hiking R&D the Atom Packs Prospector is an ultralight backpack that’s capable of carrying a serious amount of kit. Designed for end-to-end through hikers who favour a bag full of lightweight gear that weighs in at around the 10kg mark with the capacity for nearly double that weight if required. Proudly put together in England the Prospector is clearly a well thought out piece of carryology and features lots of design details to save you any aches and pains on your journey. The foam lumber pads and padded back panels through to S-shaped shoulder and adjustable sternum straps are all aimed at optimum comfort. Whilst the impressive array of (dyneema) pockets, loops and elastic attachments to the side and rear are all there to allow easy access to your essential items from water bottles to ice axes. It’s also a really lovely looking piece of kit too despite it’s rugged credentials and comes in 40, 50 and 60L sizes to suit your size and type of adventure.
