66°North launch a limited capsule with lifelong fan Laufey

Having grown up wearing the brand, an eventual collab between 66°North and Icelandic musician Laufey was inevitable. Hot on the heels from winning a Grammy she teamed up with her twin sister and 66°North’s Creative Director Junia to design a five-piece capsule that takes childhood imagery, the rugged nature of their native land and the brand’s 100-year archive as it’s inspiration. With Laufey explaining: “When I think back on my time growing up in Iceland, I think of walking to school or music lessons in the crazy weather. 66°North was always my companion. To now be recognised by one of the most prominent and innovative companies in Iceland with my own capsule collection is such a privilege.” It’s really nice to see such a natural and creative collaboration like this come together and a real testament to the unique Icelandic spirit that runs through the work of both parties involved here.
