Tried & tested by alpine heroes, the Inselberg Axiom Shell

Made in conjunction with New Zealand’s only full time professional alpine rescue team (shout out to the team at Aoraki Mount Cook) the Axiom Shell jacket from Inselberg has been designed for prolonged exposure in severe high altitude conditions where protection, structure and reliability take precedence. Designed for movement whilst mountaineering and with technical layering in mind the 140-denier face fabric of the Axiom has been paired with a 4-layer Toray Dermizax system, combining a microporous hydrophobic membrane and a hydrophilic interior layer. A seriously well thought out piece of kit that provides long term protection in extreme environments, the fact that Inselberg chose heroic people whose job it is to rescue people in the harshest Winter scenarios to R&D this bad boy is evident in every square centimetre of this jacket. Needless to say that these uncompromising performance standards also make this beautiful shell jacket ideal for all manner of other mountain sports or braving rainy British Christmas markets too.
