The new Copper Spur tent from Big Agnes (bike) packs an impressive punch

Big Agnes have been busy beavering away with a update to their ultralight, free standing, three season ‘Copper Spur’ tent with a new version that’s features their excellent Hyperbead fabric. Resulting in a 6% lighter, 25% more waterproof and 50% stronger, more dimensionally stable tent that use traditional coated fabrics. Whilst other welcome new editions to this bikepacking beauty includes a new waterproof dry bag stuff sack which features a long opening and compression feature for easier packing, alongside a redesigned bikepack-specific 12″ Shortstik pole set that makes mounting the tent to the bike a piece of cake too. Fully set up for quick pitching the Copper Spur UL2 features pre-cut guy lines and tensioners already attached with reflective detailing for low-light visibility and colour-coded webbing and buckles to make setting up super straightforward.Kitted out with two doors and two vestibules (with awning-style double zip vestibule doors) and plenty of internal attachment points for gear lofts and accessories, this is an incredibly two-wheel friendly tent that won’t weight you down.
