Say ‘Arlo’ to Vallon’s latest pair of sensational sunglasses
Great news for those of you who share our deep appreciation for Vallon’s high performance eyewear, as they’ve just released a brand new pair of hexagonal sunglasses named ‘Arlo’. A refined take on the classic crown panto shape, these geometric beauties combine an old school aesthetic with state of the art tech and provide perfect eye protection whether you’re down on the beach or high up in the mountains. Handcrafted using premium cellulose acetate, the Arlo deliver exceptional comfort and durability, and feature Vallon’s proprietary V52 polarised lenses for outstanding optical clarity. With the lenses having an ABBE value of 52 that means significantly clearer vision than standard lenses, whilst maintaining the lightweight durability needed for all types of outdoor activities and everyday adventures. Whilst the detachable sports head strap accelerates Arlo from an everyday lifestyle frame and into performance eyewear built for movement, keeping the sunglasses secure whether hiking, cycling, paddling, or travelling. Whilst the name is a nod to all of the incredible shades wearing musicians who have inspired Vallon’s design team, with Arlo Guthrie being responsible for these gorgeous gigs (see also the pairs named: (Watchtowers, Howlin’, Waylons & the Revivals). Adding to the top tier outdoor performance, exceptional eye protection and cool AF design statsitics, the pleasing cherry on top of the Arlo cake is that for every pair sold Vallon will clean up and recycle 1 kg of plastic waste to offset material consumption during production. Having ‘paired’ up with CleanHub to help protect coastal ecosystems, in a partnership that helps to create local jobs, promote gender equality, and empower communities to safeguard the environment.
