Dacia opens up a Million Star Hotel
Forget about five-star hotels, our four wheeled friends at Dacia have just launched on with a million! This one-of-a-kind location is located up in Scotland’s Galloway Forest Park, the UK’s first certified Dark Sky Park and it’s rooms with a view are made up of a fleet of Dacia Bigster SUVs. The concept being that Dacia are rewarding adventure seekers with an all-expenses-paid night of magical astronomy and deep slumber using their Bigsters to double up as a hotel for the night. As thanks to Dacia’s innovative Sleep Pack, all the ingredients for a ‘luxury’ experience are there in the form of a super comfortable bed, great company, a cosy blanket or two and a countless sea of stars overhead. The Sleep Pack is able to transform the car’s interior into a fold-away double bed with a comfortable 190cm mattress, which when combined with the panoramic sunroof turns the Bigster into your very own personal planetarium. Allowing the guests to swap bustling hotel lobbies for whispering trees, the crisp night air, and a glittering canopy of constellations overhead. Whilst kayaking, fishing, open-fire cooking and more will also be available for guests for a true outdoor experience. Reservations at the Million Star Hotel are now being taken for 25 – 26 February 2026, which could be the perfect time to witness an incredibly rare six-planet alignment, where Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mercury will all be easy to spot with the naked eye.
