Adsum + OOFOS invite you to the Unglamorous Beach Club

Awesome North American menswear maestros Adsum have reconnected with Massachusetts based recovery-footwear legends OOFOS to create thier own spin on the OOriginal Sport Sandal. Specifically designed for the less-than-perfect beaches on the north east coast of the US, these futuristic flip flops will help you to navigate sandy parking lots, dog walks, wet towels and that long walk back to the car. Named the Sand Hopper, after the tiny crustaceans found hopping through the sand along the shoreline, whilst the uppers take their dark green pattern from Atlantic mackerel markings. Meanwhile, underneath these beach friendly bangers you’ll find OOFOS’ patented OOfoam construction. A closed-cell recovery foam that absorbs 37% more impact than the standard EVA found you’ll find most footwear, alongside a contoured footbed that cradles the arch and lets each step roll forward. Featuring a super cool custom Adsum + OOFOS lockup in metallic cool grey on the footbed and outsole wall, these lightweight, machine washable sandals are and naturally odour resistant too. Though the tagline says that they’re ‘A recovery sandal designed for the shoreline, the parking lot and everything in between‘ I can see me popping a pair of these on post-hike, from now til next spring when I’ll be setting up my own Unglamorous Beach Club (in Blackpool).
