nanamica give us a glimpse into the GORE-TEX Rain Room

Having finally met nanamica design deity Eiichiro Homma ‘in the flesh’ earlier this year and more recently having been a panel guest at the Goretex 50th anniversary event I feel that part of my DNA is in this press release. Especially when it includes a big coat and torrential rain, even if that rain is created by a high tech machine rather than Mancunian clouds. Which is my convoluted way of saying that for the first time nanamica and GORE have lifted the lid on the testing process that their signature 2L Balmacaan coat undergoes to ensure that it lives up to Eiichiro’s exacting standards and delivers that reliable waterproofing that only GORE-TEX can do. Just one of many tests that GTX products have to be put through at the brand’s testing lab, nanamica decided to document this particular element with some suave stills and a super cool short film, all of which you can check out below.
