LOWA lends its legendary alpine expertise to the Cervino GTX Mid

Engineered from the ground up, the Cervino GTX Mid has been kitted out with a game-changing Vibram Spring Lug Tech outsole that helps to shave off unnecessary weight whilst also enhancing underfoot cushioning and adaptability on rugged and uneven terrain. Added to which is LOWA’s MTN Master tread which delivers an unrivalled grip and protection. Also compatible with a semi-automatic crampon, the Cervino boasts a moulded TPU heel clip with sturdiness in all the right places guaranteed, thanks to a carbon-reinforced lasting board in the midsole. Super tough but surprisingly lightweight, there’s an eFoam TPU in place to provide support and lateral protection against rocks and scree, whilst a full rubber toe cap is there to ensures greater durability on your mountain routes.

There’s lots more impressive tech and deign expertise going on ‘upstairs’ on the Cervino too, with an advanced lacing system with free floating lace hooks that allows the wearer to effortlessly achieve a perfectly-tailored fit. As well as an anatomically shaped tongue that’s kept perfectly in place via LOWA’s X-Lacing Light technology, that significantly reduces the risk of hot-spots and blisters. And for those who really like to get techy with their lacing system, the locking middle hook provides independent control over the fit of the upper and lower sections of the boot, allowing you to adapt the boot to suite different types of foot shapes, activities or terrain. There’s also a scree guard that hugs the achilles to keep those annoying rocks away from your feet though the protective cherry on this super solid alpine footwear cake coming in the form of the midweight Gore-Tex More-Season membrane.
