Take a breezy browse at Nanamica’s new heart-warming life-tech wear
Remaining committed to protecting our oceans, Nanamica continue to explore production methods that minimise environmental impact via their timeless, functional and gorgeous garments in AW26. Imbued with an eye-pleasing colour palette that’s built on Nanamicaʼs ocean-inspired standards of navy, gray, and black , next season’s range is further complemented by the inclusion of earthy hues such as beige and khaki. Whilst Windstopper liners, Primaloft black insulation and Kodenshi down provide the heat on the inside, Goretex and Cordura are also in abundance to keep the elements at bay on the outside. Designed by the mastermind Eichiro Homma with the principle of creating clothing that can be freely enjoyed by anyone who simply likes the items ,regardless of boundaries. This Autumn Winter lineup offers simple, versatile Nanamica standards ̶ technical wear made to be worn and loved for may years to come, which for me is the ultimate approach to sustainability. Subtly divide into two different catgeories the AW26 is comprised of an American athletic inspired capsule that includes fabrics made from recycled fish nets that’s titled ‘Blown by the sea Breeze‘. Whilst ‘The Freedom of the Breeze‘ features heavier outerwear, with a marine-focused lean like Duffle coats won by Nordic fishermen and deck jackets worn by sailors braving the elements. One of our favourite brands on the entire planet here at Outdoor Licence, Nanamica’s unique aesthetic of quiet functionality is one of the greatest things to come out of Japan since the Sony Walkman.
