Accurately hailed as being a ‘Plush Super Trainer’ HOKA’s everyday road-running plated shoe the Skyward X has just arrived in its second iteration. Mixing maximum cushioning with a more responsive and stable feel, this new update sees a redesigned carbon fibre plate for a smoother, more dynamic ride alongside a lighter, re-engineered construction thanks to its reduced stack height. Whilst a premium jacquard mesh upper has been added for improved comfort and fit that combines with the other improvement such as a durabrasion rubber heel and a Peba foam midsole to deliver a much lighter, comfier and altogether more agile shoe. With abundant summer vibes in the sunny colour palettes, these new Skywards feel well timed for the warmer months, when pounding the streets is definitely a more enjoyable pursuit and lightness and comfort are key ingredients to a fulfilling run.
