Ever the innovators, Swedish outdoor brand Thule have just made parking up with your bike rack a much easier experience via the introduction of their Epos BikeSecure. A premium towbar-mounted platform bike carrier designed for cyclists who care deeply about their bikes and want the same confidence whilst transporting them as they do when riding them. Built on the versatility of Thule Epos, this inspired new version integrates parking sensors directly into the carrier for smarter protection whilst reversing and giving you one less thing to worry about after a long day out in the saddle. Available in both two and three bike versions, the Thule Epos has been developed to fit virtually any type of bike, from heavy e-bikes to mountain, gravel, and commuter bikes. As the telescopic bike arms with pivoting heads attaches to the frame or rear wheel thus adapting to different bike geometries and designs, including bikes with fenders or racks. Whereas the 25 cm spacing between bikes and a load capacity of up to 30 kg per bike, means even heavier bikes are able to travel securely and independently. So whether it’s a carbon road bike or a fully equipped e-MTB, the Thule Epos ParkSecure treats every bike with the same care riders do. When it comes to smart reversing the ParkSeure activates automatically whenever the vehicle is put into reverse with four integrated sensors monitor letting you know what’s happening behind the vehicle. Which works via the wireless in-car unit that provides clear audio and visual alerts, to help riders to navigate confidently in tight parking spaces. An impressive set up which can be further enhanced by the additional of some handy optional accessories such as the Thule Epos Bike Repair Holder, Thule High Grade Lock developed by ABUS and a foldable loading ramp.
