Mizuno Lifestyle grants JW Studios persimmon to create the ‘Kuro Gaki’

Japanese sportswear legends have reconnected with German customisation kings JW Studios one again for a strictly limited purple remix of their favourite MXR silhouette. Inspired by the black persimmon, JW named the shoe ‘Kuro Gaki’ in recognition of the deep connection between nature and craftsmanship due to the tree being prized for its beautifully patterned dark wood, Whilst the fruit itself, unlike the more familiar bright orange persimmon, develops a rich dark purple to almost black tone, giving it a more distinctive and refined character. Mirroring this rare the fruit, this customised ‘Kuro Gaki’ shoe is limited to just 30 pairs and will be given away to the Mizuno Lifestyle community for free through a giveaway at www.byjwstudios.com, where participants are asked to fill out a form in order to be in with a chance of winning a pair on 18.04.26.
