Nike ACG ups the pressure on it’s Olympic athletes at Cortina this year

Though you won’t be seeing anyone mooching around Ambleside in a pair of these tangerine techno trousers any time soon, you might just catch a glimpse of them during the Winter Olympics. An exclusive performance tool that’s available only Nike-signed Olympians the Normatec Elite system has been created by the Portland brand’s ACG arm in collaboration with sports recovery firm Hyperice. A partnership that combines Hyperice’s outstanding reputation in recovery technology alongside the new performance-driven direction of Nike’s iconic ACG line. Catered specifically to meet with the gruelling demands of Cortina’s various sporting events the trousers provide “recovery in transition,” in the form of advanced compression therapy that manages athletes circulation and swelling after long haul flights as well as in between events at high altitudes and extreme temperatures. Which is a shame because I can see myself re-watching the Band of Brothers boxset on the sofa with a pair of these beauties on, ah well.
