Celebrating it’s 25th birthday this year, Arc’teryx’s toughest mountain shell the innovative Beta AR, is marking this auspicious occasion with a GORE-TEX ePE update and updated design. As well as going PFA free, this striking looking new version also utilises a new patterning approach that minimises fabric waste and saves the equivalent of 400 jackets worth of material in the production process. Whilst other new improvements include enhanced fabric lamination and updated cordlocks for additional durability. Though you’ll be happy to know that all the other signature streamlined and waterproof features we’ve come to love about the Beta AR over the past quarter of a century remain firmly in place.
