KEEN & Hiking Patrol hook up for the Hyperport H2

Typrical innit? You wait ages for a hybridised, collaborative version of the iconic KEEN Newport then two come along in the same flipping week! This time around KEEN have hooked up with Hiking Patrol on a lighter even comfier take on the ISPO award winning Hyperport H2 Sandal. Building upon their shared appreciation of natural and conscious design principles, KEEN and Hiking Patrol used the collab to connect fans with the marine world with a timely reminder of the beauty and importance to be found in aquatic ecosystems. Featuring two different colourways, this highly creative release celebrates the diverse forms of life to be found in marine environments during both low and high tide. As Wai Tsui, Founder and Creative Director of Hiking Patrol explains:

“This marks our second collaboration with KEEN, a continued partnership grounded in a shared appreciation for the outdoors and functional design. Our first release introduced climbing-inspired shoes built for versatility and everyday wear. For our second drop, we’re shifting with the season, introducing sandals with the same mindset in a lighter, summer-ready form. Designed for warmer days and easy movement, it’s a tool for exploration.”

Arriving in Algae Green and Okenia Pink, each colour of these beach friendly bangers has been carefully chosen to represent sea elements, from the soft hues of marine invertebrates to the lush, life-giving algae shades. When the ocean retreats at low tide it unveils a hidden world of rocks draped in rich algae and delicate lichen that transform the shore into a textured canvas of vibrant colours. Whereas, when the high tide returns it reclaims the shore to submerge the rocks beneath and allowing the unseen marine world to becomes hidden and mysterious once more.
