Black Diamond presents ‘Flashed’

Hands up who enjoys sitting down to watch a lovely zen like climbing video that features two of the worlds best climbers as they go about their first flash scent of the legendary El Capitan? Well if you do then you’re in luck because Black Diamond Athletes Babsi Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher have taken the trouble to do that in the marvellous short film you can watch below. Setting off on a ground up attempt last November, Babsi and her partner Jacopo spent three days battling polished slabs, offwidths, and cryptic sequences on their historic bid. Like all the best films there’s a happy ending but we’ll let you watch the whole thing to find out which member of this multi-talented climbing couple makes it up there first.
