66°North reveal the Layers of Everyday Life
Centred around the concept that everything continues regardless of differing weather/life conditions, 66°North continue to celebrate their centenary with more cosy campaign content, and this time arounds it’s to showcase their superb AW26 range. Enlisting support from the worlds of sport, music, fashion and culture, the shoot sees sprinter Eir Chang Hlésdóttir, musician Gabriel Ólafs, footballer Birnir Snær Ingason, model Alisa Svansdóttir and stylist/model Anna Clausen all adding an extra layer of Icelandic authenticity by modelling this awesome outdoor gear (OK Anna is actually Danish but you get the idea). Super functional, incredibly easy on the eye and infused with 100 years of expertise in extreme weather, key pieces in the AW26 collection including the reworked Dyngja Down, Tindur Down, Tindur Shearling, Dyngja Shell, Hornstrandir Gore-Tex Pro and Polartec Snæfell. Alongside new introductions in the form of the Kaldi Bomber and Bomber-Parka, Kaldi Half-Zip and updated Gore-Tex Windstopper Hofsjökull Coat. For me ‘warmth’ is also at the centre of this collection, in every sense of the word. Meaning that – yes, this gear is designed to keep you lovely and warm in extreme weather conditions – but when you learn about all the history and passion behind 66°North’s products you can’t help but be filled with a warm internal buzz of wholesomeness too.
