The new Komperdell Expedition Vario are poles apart

Having designed the world’s first self-deploying pole as well as the lightest poles on the market (their Cloud series range being 40% lighter than any others) it’s fair to say that Komperdell are literally poles apart from their competitors. The latest innovative addition to their impressive product range are the Carbon FXP4 Expedition Vario poles that have been specifically made with Winter pursuits like ski touring though they’re also ideally suited to Summer trail runs too. Made using high-strength aluminium on the lower section these fully adjustable, self-deployers feature a carbon composite upper section for additional strength and robustness in the most challenging of terrains. The perfect all year round option they pack down to an easily packable 43cm and weigh in at a mere 248g with a more compact model also available that weighs 237g with a pack size of just 38cm that can be adjusted from 105cm to 125cm. Though kitted out with an easy to use and incredibly sturdy Powerlock 3.0 and FXP folding mechanism Komperdell have a no quibble three year repair policy where any problems with your pole and they will have them swiftly back in full working order.
