Purple Mountain Observatory proudly presents ‘The Calyx’

Starting as they mean to go on, Purple Mountain Observatory have made their their debut footwear release in conjunction with serious sole stars Vibram and their StratX formula. Named after the protective layer that forms around a flower bud, the Calyx features a seamless waterproof upper that’s sculpted from a single sheet of special rubber which removes the need for traditional stitching or layering. A modern take on the classic camp shoe, the versatile Calyx sits somewhere between effort and recovery according to PMO. Whilst their rugged Vibram Grivola outsole would suggest that these cool looking technical shoes are going to bring comfort and protection to a whole host of exiting environments and activities.
