Páramo Pitches up in the UK’s Outdoor Capital

Legendary outdoor brand Paramo has just opened up a shining new store in Fort William. The leading innovator of ethically manufactured, sustainable and performance-driven outdoor clothing, opened up this month of the back of their successful launch of the Ringwood store in July. Marking the brand’s second new store in just three months and underlining Páramo’s dedication to growing its retail presence whilst making its products more accessible to outdoor enthusiasts. Located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Fort William is surrounded by some of the UK’s most iconic outdoor adventures and in the shadow of Britain’s highest peak, Ben Nevis. Making it the ideal location for Páramo’s latest store. The new store will offer a comprehensive range of Páramo’s award-winning, sustainably produced outdoor clothing, catering to both seasoned adventurers and those new to outdoor activities. “Opening in Fort William allows us to further our mission of providing high-performance, sustainable clothing to those who are passionate about the outdoors,” said Richard Pyne, Páramo CEO. “With two new stores in just three months, we’re not only expanding our retail footprint but also reinforcing our commitment to making our products more accessible to local communities who value both performance and sustainability.

This exciting development in Fort William marks Páramo’s fifth standalone store, adding to its existing locations in London, Keswick, Ringwood and the brand’s hometown of Wadhurst. Top mate of Outdoor Licence and industry expert Davy Wright visited the store before its opening to meet the staff and look through the range, “The store is ideally placed on the High St, not far from the northern point of the West Highland Way. The store looks great and has a really nice feel. The range has something to offer all outdoor goers, the classic colours are still there but there are some funky new ones to check out too!

In addition to Páramo’s renowned collection of outdoor clothing, the new store also features a curated selection of outdoor products from well-known brands, including Elliot Brown Watches, Darn Tough Vermont, Ortlieb, Hydro Flask and Ledlenser, enhancing the shopping experience for customers seeking high-performance gear.  Davy was also fortunate enough to be given a Velez Evolution Hybrid smock and Cascada II waterproof trousers, which he’ll be reviewing them on Outdoor Licence, and will share his
adventures using them on his social media HERE. The Fort William store is open now. Visitors can expect exclusive in-store offers, expert advice from the friendly, knowledgeable staff, and the opportunity to discover Páramo’s full range of waterproofs, insulators, and base layers designed to perform in all weather
