New Helly Hansen Archive collection is on (Floating) Point(s)

Drawing on their impressive background of making some of the world’s best high performance maritime survival gear, Helly Hansen’s Archive department (or HH-118389225 to give it it’s proper name) use their expertise to create garments that are at the cutting edge of modern design as well as functionality. This season they have created a collection title ‘Floating Points’ that perfectly exemplifies their hybrid approach by using new silhouettes and patterns that wouldn’t typically be applied to technical gear whilst building on the concept of a modular wardrobe. These new additions include the Modular Padded Top Coat (a tribute to archive Helly Hansen Mountain Jackets from the 1990s) available in a new checked print, the Modular Liner, which effortlessly transforms from a jacket to vest, the Lightweight Padded Pants and the Pile Fleece Jacket. Whilst further refinements have been made to fan favourites, like the Reversible Puffer and Waterproof Down Parka, an insulating outerwear style constructed using Helly Hansen’s premium Helly Tech fabric. This highly desirable collection is exactly the kind of urban-centric but mountain friendly gear that we get quite excited about here at Outdoor Licence and further proof that hanging out in the mountains doesn’t mean you have to stop looking cool AF.
