LOWA lightens up with the new Explorer GTX Mid

Do you remember we recently told you all about the impeccable LOWA Tibet Evo GTX and the fact it’s now available in a wide fit option too? Well this week comes more news from the incredible German boot brand and this time, in contrast to the chunky AF Tibet, it’s all about the release of their lightest trekking boot to date. Combining state of the art tech with the European heritage that’s defined LOWA for well over a century, the new Explorer GTX Mid has arrived! The brand’s first model to feature LOWA’s innovative Lightcell PU technology this handsome looking boot combines all the support and performance you’d expect from a traditional walking boot with the type of underfoot cushioning and flex more usually experienced in a trail shoe. Kitted out with LOWA’s inspired X-Lacing Light system that ensures tongues remain firmly in place whilst reducing pressure points and helping to prevent blisters and hot spots, they also feature a fully breathable Gore-Tex lining. Perfectly suited for everyday hikes as well as more technical mountain routes this is the pair to pop on when you want to travel light but still need some solid and reliable German engineering on your feet.
