KEEN & Daiki go for a walk around New York

Whilst it’s fair to say that our obsession with the outdoors is usually centred around the tranquility to be found in mountains, up hills and around large lakes enjoying some urban exploration is also one of our favourite pastimes. And getting some serious steps in whilst admiring some breath-taking architecture, award winning museums and the arrival of Autumn in Central Park appears to be the inspo for KEEN’s latest collab. They’ve hooked up with Engineered Garments to make a version of the WK400 walking show that is tailor made for trekking around the Big Apple. Alrready a big fan of the WK400, EG founder Daiki Suzuki customised his own pair by adding some reflective panels to keep him safe and seen whilst out and about in NYC when the sun goes down. Inspired by this the tow brands sat down to make two pairs that literally reflected Daiki’s illuminating take on the WK400. Combined with the KEEN.CURVE propulsion system you’ve got the ultimate urban walking shoe that will have you looking like a native New Yorker or should that be walker?
