KEEN and Metalwood putt a cool collab together

Given that golf is one of the world’s favourite pastimes and that pretty much everyone I know loves a pair of KEEN sandals it’s no surprise to hear that golfers are partial to a popping on a pair of Portland’s finest footwear both on and off the course. Which is what has inspired this ace new collaboration between KEEN and LA-based golf streetwear brand Metalwood. Comprised of a co-branded Hyperport Clog and UNEEK II convertible, Metalwood’s design inspiration is taken from golf course typography maps as well as reflexology, with Metalwood Founder Cole Young explaining: “how the contours of the nervous system relate to our emotions on and off the golf course”. I’m not going to profess to know too much about golf but given that it’s not well know for it’s sartorial style then this has got to be a move in the right direction for lovers of comfortable feet and tasteful apparel alike.
