Fjällräven’s Keb Lätt trekking system is ultralight and super comfy
Some exceptional new products designed for thru-hiking and multi-day trekking have just arrived from our Swedish friends at Fjällräven. Made to deliver long-distance comfort and low packweight (and perhaps a tad more technical than their most iconic gear) the new Keb Lätt collection of garments, backpacks and accessories are packed with functional details informed by real life trekking environments and events tested out in the unforgiving Nordics. Having been developed and tested in legendary locations such as the trails between Nikkaluokta and Abisko in Northern Sweden as well as on the epic Fjällräven Classic events that happen across the globe. Essentially a super comfortable and lightweight system where layering, packability and carrying comfort work together across garments, backpacks and accessories. Each Keb Lätt product has been developed to function both independently as well as a part of a complete long-distance trekking setup. With garment designer in R&D for Keb Lätt Anglica Lindersson explaining:
“Keb Lätt is about giving trekkers more freedom to move and lighten the load on the trail. It’s all about reducing weight while keeping the durability, comfort and reliability that really matter on multi-day hikes. We consider this balance between weight and durability to be light, made right,” Adding “Lightweight is not new to Fjällräven but with this new system, we’ve aimed to bring a more technical expression into Fjällräven trekking, while still feeling grounded in the way we’ve always designed products — functional, durable and made for long days in nature.” True to form this range also looks beautiful too, with Fjall keeping to their strong Scandi aesthetic regardless of the techy, lightweight update.
