Didriksons introduce low impact EcoLactam into new shell jacket collection

Scando smother-smiths Didriksons have just dropped his and hers PFA-free Waterproof jackets the Dario and Varja constructed using their carbon footprint lowering EcoLactam fabric. A high performance polyamide material developed by Fibrant, EcoLactam uses a patented processes that reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 70 percent compared to conventional nylon. Chief Sourcing Officer at Didriksons Per Odqvist had this to say about the launch and future use of this functional fabrication: “With Dario and Varja, we prove that responsible material choices can be applied where they matter most. That is in styles that reach many customers and are worn often. This is not a one-off product launch. It is part of a long-term commitment to change how we source and develop materials. Scaling responsibly is key if we want to make a real difference.” Offering a 15,000 mm level of water-column protection these tastefully tonal waterproof numbers are also very reasonably priced at £110 a pop too. Making them a strong choice for anyone who wants a versatile and solid waterproof jacket to see them through the Spring and Summer months without breaking the bank.
