A gratifying Grocery shop from Diemme & Otto Resource
If you’re unaware, Otto Resource is a research facility that’s based in Berlin and focused on garment design and production, material innovation and integrating subcultural systems into technically progressive, referentially rich products. Who, in collaboration with Italian Alpine footwear legends Diemme and Copenhagen concept store Grocery have created a beautiful capsule collaboration. Heralding their second ‘Function Complex’ exhibition series the two new silhouettes set out to unite Diemme’s technical shoemaking expertise with Otto Resource’s archive-driven methodology alongside Grocery’s curatorial sensibility. Each of the shoes also represent the respective cities of Berlin and
Copenhagen as reimagined through the Function Complex lens. So the vivid red OR-PL07.25 Collalto Hiking boot references spanning uniforms, early music style tropes, and signaling gear as a nod to Otto Resource’s ongoing engagement with subculture and uniformity. Whilst the darker OR-PL08.25 Movida ’92 Sneaker offers a more formal reinterpretation of Diemme’s sporty classic that merges athletic form with Danish design refinement. An impressive three sided pyramid of functionality, art and design we’re big fans of anything that brings an alpine aesthetic onto the city streets, so expect to see us pacing the streets of Manchester in a pair of these very soon.

The Diemme x Otto Resource x Grocery collection will be launching on 19.08.25 HERE.
