A Très Bien collab from Diemme

Inspired by the legendary hiking boot heritage of their native Dolemites, Italian brand Diemme have earned a reputation for making some of the best looking footwear on the planet. For their latest collaborative project they’ve teamed up with Swedish retail legends Tres Bien to revisit their superb Bardolino shoe and give it a more formal spruce up. Handcrafted from premium Italian leather with a natural grain finish, the Tres Biren Bardolino is set on a monochrome black Vibram sole and finished with a two-tone Cordura tongue, tonal nylon laces, and a brown leather lining. Inspired directly by the Malmö menswear institution’s contemporary aesthetic, this suave iteration offers a refined alternative to the traditional leather shoe that doesn’t compromise on everyday comfort. Complimenting this bougie new leather version the Bardolino Sport Silver Mesh is also part of the collaboration that provides a more technical take on this low profile silhouette. Presented in a monochromatic palette of greys, it blends smooth grey nappa leather with soft grey suede alongside silver mesh, reflective piping, and matching silver laces. Produced using the final run of this distinctive silver mesh (a material that will no longer be manufactured) this technical take stands as a unique expression of the project, balancing performance-inspired detailing with refined Italian craftsmanship. There’s a lot to love about each version of this brilliant shoe, that looks like a Prada Cup that got bored of sailing and decided to go for a hike in the hills instead.
