Halt harmful sunrays with the Cool Pallas collection from Halti

Making outdoor gear since 1976, Finnish brand Halti know a thing or two when it comes to providing protection from the elements and their latest ‘Pallas Cool’ range is all about sun safety. With things getting significantly hotter comes an increased amount of harmful UV rays in the Summer months, with sunscreen not always enough to keep us protected on our all day outdoor adventures. Which is is where the Pallas Cool gear steps in, a range of easy to wear, lightweight, breathable and quick-drying garments that provide optimal sun protection with an impressive UPF rating of 90+ whilst blocking up to 98.8% of UV rays. Interestingly the collection has also been constructed using materials made using 32% densely woven, bluesign-certified fibres that are derived from corn, alongside a plant-based PFC-free DWR coating. Halti have applied this next gen technical sun protection to a range of pieces that includes jackets, skirts, zip off shorts, a cap and a banging bucket hat.
