Houdini & Osprey create a circular Allt-ernative

Allt is born from the belief that we can do more with less,” says Jesper Danielsson, Chief Product Officer at Houdini on the exciting new one-pack, four season quiver that they’ve made in collaboration with backpacking bigwigs Osprey. “We wanted to create one backpack that could truly do it all — ski touring, climbing, hiking, travel — without compromise. And we built it to push the boundaries of both performance and sustainability.” Combining combines Osprey’s world-leading pack expertise with Houdini’s trailblazing approach to circular design, sustainability is at the core of the Allt series collaboration. Engineered using Houdini’s technical freeride shell layer Rollercoaster as the blueprint, the Allt takes he Swedish brand’s pioneering work in circular design and translates into the world of technical backpacks. Key details include:

Mono-material construction: All key components — fabrics, webbing, cord, and foam — are made from 100% polyester to enable straightforward recycling.


Recycled content: Main fabrics contain at least 70% recycled material, the liner is 100% recycled, and meshes are made with at least 75% recycled content.


Innovative hardware: Bio-based POM buckles derived from captured agricultural methane, recyclable polyester webbing, and removable plastic/metal parts designed for easy replacement or proper disposal.


Circular system: At end-of-life, the Allt backpack can be returned to Osprey or Houdini for responsible recycling.

On top of which you have a high performance, technical pack that lends itself to a myriad of outdoor pursuits and also looks absolutely phenomenal. Available in 20 & 30L versions, an additional bonus of the Allt is that it is an absolutely beautiful looking piece of kit too.
