Tales from Skim City by icebreaker
You may remember that we told you about the event that out merino maestro mates at icebreaker were putting on recently? Well if you couldn’t make it down but wanted to see what happened when they created London’s first ever urban pond skim then check out these pics taken by James North. His ace shots capture the energy of the day as Potters Fields Park was transformed into ‘Skim City’ complete with a whopping 70 tonnes of real snow. Crowds gathered to cheer on the pros and locals alike as they swapped trainers for skis and gave urban pond skimming a go, with plenty of spectacular splashes along the way. Can you do one in Manchester next time please? It looks amazing!
