66°North land an eco-conscious catch with KA YO

Our favourite Icelanders 66°North (no offence btw Bjork) have gotten together with stylish Swedes KA YO to create a capsule that’s inspired by Nordic fishing culture and colourful nineties apparel. The collection features two unique Kria jackets that have been crafted using deadstock Polartec Neoshell fabrics sourced directly from 66°North’s own factories. Based on an archive piece with an appropriately oversize fit. both the limited edition Kria’s colour palettes reflect the colours to be found whilst gazing up at the Northern Lights as well as on hi-vis fishing trawler crews. Whilst the shoot took place in the small fishing village of Suðureyri in Iceland and captures the true spirit of local fishermen, from the old to the young, highlighting Icelanders enduring connection to the sea.
