66°North & District Vision explore the Arctic together

Outstanding Icelandic outerwear collides with Californian eyewear expertise to collaborate on one of the coolest collabs of the season we’ve seen so far. Combing forces to create an exciting Arctic‐grade exploration kit this eye-catching collab has been designed to withstand the harshest Nordic elements without compromising on style. Informed by District Vision’s ethos of mindful living fused with high-performance sportswear the capsule collection also adheres to 66°North’s longstanding legacy of functional durability. Or, as my mate and CEO of 66°North Helgi Óskarsson puts it:

Since its founding in Iceland in 1926, 66°North has always been about creating gear for survival – and this partnership with District Vision embodies that heritage. We truly admire District Vision’s philosophy of mindful performance. They are the ideal partner to help us discover what it means to move with intention, in any climate, and to take our next bold steps into the running world.”

As well as featuring co-branded heritage down pieces from the brands legendary Tindur range, the capsule also includes gear suited to Winter running. Such as balaclava top, tights, and shorts crafted from Italian recycled 4-way stretch fabrics with sharp contrast stitching to mirrors Iceland’s unique and dramatic environment. Whilst the eyewear takes centre stage via two signature models (the Keiichi and Eiichi) both of which have been engineered with shatterproof polycarbonate lenses, oleophobic and anti-reflective coatings and the D+ Photochromic lens for seamless adaptability in variable light. Do collabs get any cooler than this?
