Vans and Nicole McLaughlin have had a Ruck

As a long time admirer of Nicole McLaughlin’s truly incredible upcycled creations it’s lovely to see that for her latest collab with Vans she’s used old school ruckpacks as her main source of inspo. Taking the classic Vans Slip-On RS, she’s turned this skate-wear staple and placed it into her Seth Brundle type telepod along with some vintage 1970s hiking packs to conjure up her inimitable magic. Constructed with a rucksack pocket in the toe and adjustable nylon webbing the Vans x NicoleMcLaughlin Slip-On RS also has an upper built using 40% recycled canvas thats been treated with PFC-free DWR for waterproofing. Whilst complimenting the shoe (available in tan and grey) the collection also includes a Rucksack that doubles up as a climbing chalk bag and a pair of organic cotton ‘Rucksocks’ that feature a cargo pocket for stashing some easy access ankle snacks.

The Vans x Nicole McLaughlin collection will be available from HERE and HERE as well as selected retailers from 26.03.25.
