Travel back & forth in time with 66°North
Just like the place it so proudly comes from, 66°North is a brand that’s very hard to categorise. Their collections always fell like you’ve been given a sneaky peak into the future of fashion yet their performance levels of their gear makes it also feel you’d be more than happy taking it with you on an arctic expedition. Titled ‘The Traveller’ their new AW24 collection takes it’s inspo from the Kria, a bird also known as the arctic tern that migrates each year from Arctic to the Antartic pole. Representing the far-reaching 66°North community the Kria is always on the move with an every-changing lifestyle. Bridging the gap between 66°North’s history and the future state, The Traveller collection focusses on both the brand’s core heritage whilst also introducing entirely new elements, including fabrics and finishing techniques. A seamless combination of the old and the new that comes under the direction of their talented new creative director Kei Toyoshima. This intoxicating combination of classic and cutting edge has the brand’s signature shell jackets at the forefront, such as their super techy Hornstrandir Gore-Tex Pro and everyday go-to Polartec Snæfell alongisde cosy insulation pieces like the Tindur Gore-Tex Infinium down jacket and the Tindur Polartec fleece. Just like a trip to Iceland there’s a pleasant surprise around every corner of this incredibly cool collection.
