The Rab Exion 55L is packed with intelligent design features
If you’re in the market for a new back pack then it may interest you to know that Rab have recently revamped their range of packs to include some impressive new pieces designed for lightening the load on all manner of outdoor adventures. From award-winning waterproof running packs to expedition-grade trekking backpacks the extensive new Rab range is geared towards taking the weight on all manner of high performance pursuits. Looking like a sleak and streamlined German sports car the Exion hiking pack is a standout piece from what is a highly desirable range that is ideally suited for thru-hikes and multi-day alpine treks. Just like the aforementioned sports car the Exion has lots of technical features built into its stunning design. A key component being the adjustable V-TRAX carry system, which when combined with the thermoformed harness and dual-density foam provides a close, supportive fit that provides cushioning exactly where its needed and reduces bulk where it isn’t. Engineered via intelligent design to to keep weight low, enhance load stability and delivers lasting comfort over long distances the performance is perhaps more akin to a G-Wagon than a 911. I’ve opted for the 55L version with a view to fitting in a small tent and a Helinox chair for some potential some wild camping expeditions this Summer so stay tuned for a full field test report.
