Smarten up your act(ion) with DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN I/O

Although we’re far more comfortable talking about whether a jacket has a hood with adequate helmet space or the weight of a pair of trail running shoes it’s nice to know that if we want to smart up our act we can still rely on an outdoor brand. Though more usually associated with mountain sports the design team at DESCENTE have been beavering away at their ALLTERRAIN I/O line to finely craft a range of urban activewear that’s definitely on the suave side. Categorised as their ‘Tech Tailored’ range the AW24 collection boasts a number of pieces you could happily get married in and/or deliver a TED talk. Designed using “pattern making that does not interfere with daily movements and excellent stretch properties” these pieces have been made from lightweight double weave fabrics that are both sweat absorbent and UV-blocking. It’s a smart move using sportswear technology to make the time of clothing that is suited to everyday wear as well as having a timeless property too. Just at a time when you thought suits were for squares, along come the Japanese to blow that theory out of the water. Who knows I might even be able to get a proper job if I wear this gear?
