Passenger’s School Bus is out for Summer
If you’re looking for a unique off-grid experience this Summer then hop aboard the ‘Little Firs’, an old-school American school bus that conscientious outdoor brand Passenger have converted into an eco-lodge on wheels. Somewhat dilapidated after ferrying countless school kids around before having a starring role on the big screen Shred & Butta helped Passenger to implement recycled and reclaimed materials to transform the bus into an incredibly special living space. Pallets were used for the flooring whilst Passenger clothing samples were repurposed for the upholstery alongside charity shop finds including books, frames, maps and furniture. To power this beautiful looking bus Passenger partnered up with our mates at Dometic to kit it out with four 230w solar panels to charge the batteries that run the appliances and electricity onboard.
On a mission to inspire ‘meaningful escapism’ the bus headlines Passenger’s Made to Roam tour and after a stint visiting various UK festival will make its way up North to the Lake District to pitch up in partnership with Canopy & Stars, before heading to Kendal Mountain Festival in November. So from 20th September to 17th November, Little Firs will be onsite at Canopy & Stars’ popular Hinterlandes destination as a bookable stay. Though dates are on sale now but are extremely limited, with only 23 stays available to book HERE. Each stay comes with a £50 Passenger gift card.
