Nissan heads for Tokyo on the X-Trail

Though we’re perhaps more used to talking about getting around on two feet in Japanese outerwear here at Outdoor Licence we thought we’d give you a sneak peek of some 4-wheel based outdoor equipment. Ahead of the Tokyo Auto Salon this weekend Nissan have revealed some sensational pics of two of their X-Trail concepts that will be on show that really caught our eye. The X-Trail unwind concept is based on the current X-Trail with e-POWER that’s been customised to include a trailer that provides a a seamless terrace space for you to hang out on that’s been designed to ‘transcend the boundary between indoor and outdoor’. Whereas the X-Trail remastered concept, represents the third in Nissan’s used car customisation series (following the Cube and March) and utilises a previous-generation X-Trail to create an environment specifically designed for enjoying some precious vinyl spinning time in. Expect to find both of these utopian models providing an impromptu chill out area out in the wilderness somewhere in the not too distant future.
