Klättermusen celebrate the art of hard work
Swedish outdoor kit kings Klättermusen have been getting creative again with their latest campaign that celebrates the artistry behind the brilliant products they’ve been producing for nearly fifty years. The concept being an ‘imagined art exhibition’ with Klättermusen products acting as frames, canvases and clay for the outdoor community to create. The canvas for this mountain made art being focussed around Klättermusen’s own responsible material innovations, such as Cutan, a proprietary waterproof and breathable construction with PTFE-free technology in all layers to ensure fluorocarbon-free production. Alongside this comes Katla, a 100% organic cotton material that utilises Bionics principles (the study of natural processes to create synthetic-like characteristics) to create a miraculous fabric that’s windproof, water repellant and highly breathable too. Celebrating hero pieces from the brand’s rich history that have become well loved favourites amongst their discerning customers, the stories entwined within this imagined exhibition include icons such as the Allgrön 2.0 jacket, Gere 3.0 trousers and Ull backpack. Without a doubt one of the coolest genuinely technical outdoor brands on the planet, we’ll let our good friend and head honcho at Klättermusen Gonz Ferrero have the last word on this inspired and artistic campaign: “We design mountaineering equipment for extreme durability. Through wear and tear, the user becomes the artist. Your hard work on the mountain mirrors the effort we put into crafting the products”.
