How the Haglöfs x Outdoor Licence Hike part 2 went down

Last Saturday saw us getting together for our second hike with the brilliant Swedish outdoor brand Haglöfs out in the beautiful (if a little misty) Peak District. Meeting up at the impeccably good Coleman’s Deli in Hathersage our intrepid band of heroes gathered to fuel up on artisanal Scotch eggs and expertly poured flat whites before heading up for a circular hike around Stannage Edge. All four members of Outdoor Licence were in attendance with our mate Michael AKA MarpleLeaf in charge of the map with a variety of friends joining us that included the crew from exciting new store British Attire who also brought along some of their furry friends too one of whom I became particularly attached to named Rufus. Despite being something of a misty mountain hop to begin with, once we reached the top of the edge with expert timing the clouds parted and treated us to a lovely vista of the trail we’d just walked along. After making our way down the gang congregated for a post hike pint (or three) at the Little John Hotel which if you didn’t know is named after Robin Hood’s best mate who is buried in St Michael’s church graveyard in Hathersage. A big thank you to everyone who came along it really was a brilliant day and keep your eyes peeled for news of our head-torch hike that we’ll be organising the week before Christmas.
