Heimplanet goes back to (Neo) black

Though many have tried to emulate the OG inflatable tent with inferior, multi-valve, cheaper versions nobody beats Heimplanet when it comes to making the originals the best inflatable tents in the universe. As well as looking like they’ve been beamed in from the year 2525 these tents don’t just look good they also deliver high performance in some of the world’s most demanding environments. As the recent testimony from legendary landscape photographer Benjamin Hardman who has been using Heimplanet tents for nearly ten years explains HERE. As well as being beloved by intrepid explorers in the Northern hemisphere it’s no surprise to learn that these tremendous tents are also very popular over in Japan too. So much so that the brand’s latest release the Neo Black collection is inspired by concept of ‘Seijaku’ which translates as ‘the tranquillity found in stillness‘ that can be found in the serene and harmonious themes present in Japanese camping culture.

Designed for outsiders who appreciate cutting-edge camping gear with a neck-snappingly cool ‘stealth mode’ monochromatic aesthetic. This exceptionally cool range includes Heimplanet classics The Cave XL and Backdoor models in an all-black shell with a black version of their signature cairo camo pattern on the inner tent. Both tents are 4-season ready and equipped with eco-friendly dyed flysheets that feature a C0 (PFAS-free) waterproof coating. A true centre piece of any basecamp, popping this tent out is the equivalent to walking into a party with a North Face Purple Label jacket on that everybody wants but nobody knows how to get hold of. That said, through they have been made specifically for the Japanese market there is limited availablity on the Heimplanet European site HERE if you’re quick.
