Haglöfs make multi-talented backpacks

Whilst we all like to lovingly admire those heroic sized packs that are designed to fit everything you’d ever need for a month in the middle of nowhere into, the real heroes of the backpack world are the daypacks. These ever faithful and unassuming accessories can always be relied upon for any eventualities within a 24 hour window. From a quick city break to heading down to the local shops, the daypack is always there for us and ready to take more than it’s fair share of the load. On a personal note I always take a Haglöfs daypack with me on a hike even if it’s just a couple of miles, safe in the knowledge that I’ve got everything I need should the desire to go further afield arise or if I sack it off and decide to go and buy few cans and a pizza. Haglöfs latest entry into their well trodden world of highly funtional and super durable backpacks comes in the form of the Jarve Multi 28 (as well as a 22l version). A multi-compartment daypack that would look equally at home wandering around the Tate Modern as it would on top of Great Gable.

As the name might suggest it’s kitted out with a multitude of smart storage options that includes one main compartment, one organisation compartment and one padded compartment to keep your laptop safe and sound. Whilst on the outside there’s an array of outer pockets and attachment points designed to cater to all your carrying needs. This includes a recycled EVA foam pad which nor only provides extra protection for your aforementioned laptop but also doubles up as a seat for when you’v earned yourself a nice sit down. Constructed from 100% ripstop it’s super tough too whislt the ergonomics are equally on point too thanks to it’s generously padded shoulder straps. Having founded their legendary outdoor business on making backpacks it’s fair to say that the Jarve Multi 28 does the Haglofs family name justice and is sure to become a go to daypack for years if not decades to come.
