Garmin goes with their Instinct for the third time around

Global leaders in making cutting edge gear that stops you getting lost, Garmin have just launched the third version of their super tough multi-band GPS smartwatch the Instinct. Version 3 brings an enhanced high resolution AMOLED screen, a more efficient solar lens (that gets more than five times the battery life in GPS mode when solar charging) and a shock resistant built-in flashlight that’s water-rated up to 100 meters. Available in AMOLED or solar versions the Instinct 3 comes in black or bold special edition colours alongside a bolted design and metal reinforced bezel with a variety of different health and wellness monitoring applications. Keeping you updated on your heart rate and advanced sleep monitoring with a wrist-based Pulse Ox and its heart rate variability (HRV) status the new version also allows female users to track their menstrual cycle and pregnancy while also providing exercise and nutritional information. Compatible with android and iPhones for receiving texts and emails the Garmin Messenger app on the Instinct 3 also provides two-way text messaging directly from the watch. Whilst the Garmin Pay app lets you make contactless payments in your favourite stores.
